Transport
The OC recommends that you use public transport (included in the start fee), since only a limited number of parking spaces is available. Given that the race is held in one of the most beautiful locations in the Zurich Oberland, we have the following request to make: Leave your car at home or at least park in one of the specially designated parking spaces. That way you will save yourself any hassle and help conserve our environment. You can reach the village zone on foot from Uster railway station in around 5-10 minutes.
Free travel by public transport with the Swiss Runners Ticket
Travelling by public transport is included in the entry fee for all participants! Two promo codes for a return ticket from your place of residence to Uster will be sent with the registration card. These can be used to print out a free ticket for the outward and return journey, excluding on www.sbb.ch or at the railway counter (not in the SBB app). The Swiss Runners Ticket is personal and valid from Friday to Sunday. On the return journey, the special ticket is only valid with the Greifensee Run start number.
The most important information in brief:
- The distance travelled (from home to Uster and back) must be entered.
- We recommend that you always buy a one-way ticket that is valid for the entire day of travel or is flexible in terms of time. Supersaver tickets are linked to a train connection. Travellers cannot change to another train with the supersaver ticket.
- If you are travelling within a fare network, we recommend choosing a day pass. The zone tickets are only valid up to 2 hours or 3 hours.
